Atomic docs

Documentation

Every global Atomic registers, all 374 of them, grouped by what they touch. Functions that exist in UNC and sUNC behave as documented there.

Luau type notation: ? marks an optional argument, {T} is an array of T, and () is no return value.

Environment

Identity of the executor and the global tables it exposes.

Scripts

Reading, decompiling and enumerating the scripts in a place.

Closures

Creating, hooking, comparing and identifying functions.

Metatables

Reading and writing metatables Roblox keeps locked.

Reflection

Properties the engine does not expose to scripts.

Instances

Finding instances the game has not handed you.

Signals

Connections, firing and replication.

Debug

The debug library, extended to reach constants, upvalues and protos.

Filesystem

Files under the executor's workspace folder.

HTTP

Requests from the client.

WebSocket

A client socket from Lua.

Cryptography

Encoding and compression.

Input

Keyboard, mouse and window state. These drive the real OS input queue.

Console

The separate console window.

Drawing

Immediate-mode shapes drawn over the game.

Actors

Parallel Luau.

Lua State

Raw access to the VM.

Network

RakNet packet hooks.

Visual

Changing what the place looks like on your client only.

Diagnostics

For reporting problems, not for scripts.

Bit

Thirty-two bit integer arithmetic on the global bit table. Arguments are truncated to 32 bits on the way in and come back as plain numbers.

Cache

The engine keeps one userdata per instance and hands the same one back every time. These reach into that table.

Regex

Standard library regular expressions, which Luau patterns cannot express.

Hooks

The oth table hooks a C closure in place, keeping the original callable. It works on closures the engine itself holds, which hookfunction cannot reach.

ImGui

A Dear ImGui binding. A callback registered with imgui.Connect runs once a frame, so the widgets it builds belong to that frame. It runs on the same thread as the rest of your scripts, so anything you can call from a script you can call from a callback. Every other function in these sections raises outside such a callback, and anything left open when one returns or errors is closed for you, so a mistake cannot unbalance the menu.

ImGui Widgets

Everything that draws something or takes a value. Widgets that edit a value take the current one and return whether it changed along with the new one, because the binding keeps no state of its own.

ImGui Input

Querying the widget just drawn, the mouse and keyboard, the frame itself, and pushing style overrides. The enum tables live on the imgui table: Col, StyleVar, WindowFlags, Cond, TreeNodeFlags, InputTextFlags, Dir, MouseButton and Key.
